The Merseysound Productions team has over 30 years experience in the musical and conference and events industry.

Merseysound was founded in South Africa by Colin Reader in 1992. The company expanded into the United Kingdom and the Merseyside branch was opened in November 2000.
Ideally situated at the Liverpool Film Studios, Merseysound have the capacity and expertise to manage multiple events from, initial advice through to set design and equipment hire.

Events produced include a number of prestigious black tie Award Ceremonies for the Liverpool Daily Post & Echo including; The Daily Post Regional Business Awards, Cheshire Business Awards, Huddersfield Business Awards and Community Awards and the Achievement Wales Business Awards.

Recently, Merseysound supplied and operated all the equipment at the Liverpool Echo Fashion Show, the National Football Museum Hall of Fame, the Black History Month - Cultural Food Festival, Medicash Awards Ceremony, 'All that Glitters Ball' a charity event in aid of Claire House Children's Hospice and the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner.

Merseysound are preferred suppliers at a number of hotels and venues in and around Liverpool, and regularly supply and operate equipment at their functions. Over the festive season Merseysound supplied sound and lighting to the Metquarter for their Christmas shopping experience.

In addition, Merseysound are proud to be one of the suppliers to the Liverpool Capital of Culture Department, and have worked on many events over the last few years which include; Faith in one City, Slavery Remembrance Day, The Clipper Race, and various hospitality events. Most recently, events include the 08 Business Breakfast meetings, Chief Executive Staff conference and the Leaders Breakfast meeting.

Internationally, equipment has been supplied and operated at the International Aids Conference and several Network 21 meetings in Malaysia and the Philippines with an attendance of over 4000 delegates per venue.

On the entertainment side Merseysound have been involved with sound, lighting, production and filming for some of the X-Factor contestants including; Ray from the latest show and Chico, Brenda, Maria, 4 Tune, and Journey South. Other artists Merseysound have had the privilege of working with are, Miss Dynamite, Go West, Rachel Stevens and China Crisis.

The highlight of 2006 was a private party Merseysound produced with a star studded guest list and internationally renowned artists that included; Lionel Richie, Westlife, Sugarbabes, Will Young, Charlotte Church and Jason Donovan. Merseysound were the official supplier for sound, lighting, staging and filming.
